About this role
Role Summary
The Material Management Front Line is responsible for ensuring that adequate inventory levels are maintained to meet production needs. This role involves implementing effective material planning and forecasting strategies, minimizing material wastage, and managing the movement of stock across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
· Inventory Management:
- Ensure adequate inventory levels to meet production requirements without overstocking.
- Monitor stock movements and manage material replenishment efficiently.
· Material Planning and Forecasting:
- Develop and implement material planning strategies to align with production schedules.
- Use historical data and market trends to forecast material needs accurately.
· Wastage Minimization:
- Identify areas to minimize material wastage and optimize usage.
- Implement processes for better material handling and storage to reduce losses.
· Stock Movement and Tracking:
- Oversee the movement of stock within warehouses and between different production stages.
- Ensure smooth coordination between procurement, warehousing, and production teams.
Qualifications
1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BE/B.Tech), MBA in Supply Chain Management required
2. Experience: MBA/Masters Tier1- Fresher Or BSC/Bcom/BBA- 3+ Year Ex Or Diploma-2+ Years of Ex
Skills
Skills: Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of ERP systems and proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
Soft/People Skills:

· Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skill
