Role - Senior Fullstack Developer (contract)

We are seeking a Fullstack React Native Developer with strong front-end expertise and hands-on experience with Expo. This is a 6-month renewable contract starting October 14, 2025 (latest start date: October 27, 2025).

You will play a critical role in building scalable and user-friendly applications, including innovative features such as audio integration, payment systems, and an AI-powered voice companion.

Start Date: October 14, 2025 (no later than October 27, 2025)

Type: Contract (6 months, renewable)

Location: Hybrid

Language: English (bilingual a strong asset)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications using React Native (Expo).
• Build and optimize front-end experiences with a strong focus on performance and scalability.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code, ensuring scalability and performance.
• Perform code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to support production systems.
• Work in an agile environment, contributing to sprints, planning, and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to back-end development and integration, ensuring seamless data flow and secure architecture.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in React Native with Expo.
• Solid front-end development background.
• Back-end experience (Node.js, Express, or similar frameworks).
• Familiarity with databases (PostgreSQL or equivalent).
• Experience with payment integration (e.g., Stripe, PayPal) – an asset.
• Experience with audio features and/or AI-powered features – an asset.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work autonomously in a hybrid, fast-paced startup environment.
• English required (French an asset).
• Open-minded, collaborative, and proactive, with a willingness to challenge ideas and propose alternatives.
