The role:

At Crown Sydney, creating exceptional experiences starts with keeping our people and guests safe. We're looking for an experienced safety & injury management professional to drive our HSW strategy and support a strong culture of safety within Sydney’s most iconic entertainment destinations.

You'll partner with operational leaders across the property to provide expert guidance on injury management prevention, return to work plans, safety and wellbeing initiatives - helping to shape continuous improvement and overall engagement in HSW.

This is a highly visible and influential role where you'll combine technical expertise with hands-on support. From leading key safety initiatives and investigations, to driving compliance and best practice, you'll be the go-to expert for all things health and safety. You'll be part of a high-performing and collaborative team on-property, whilst learning from and working with our group HSW function in Melbourne & Perth.

You’ll be:

• Championing a positive and proactive health, safety and wellbeing culture across Crown Sydney

• Supporting workers' compensation and return-to-work activities

• Managing and support incident investigations, ensuring effective outcomes and learnings are shared

• Conducting audits and inspections to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for improvement

• Partnering with leaders to identify risks, drive improvements and embed safe work practices

• Developing engaging training programs, toolbox talks and awareness initiatives

• Maintaining and enhancing HSW policies, processes and governance frameworks

• Overseeing key risk management, compliance and emergency management plans

• Monitor legislative changes and industry best practice to ensure Crown remains at the forefront of HSW excellence

You’ll bring:

• Experience in a similar role within busy, diverse and operational environments (retail / hospitality advantageous)

• Strong knowledge of workplace health, safety and environmental legislation

• Proven success implementing and managing safety frameworks across diverse or multi-site operations

• A track record of driving positive safety outcomes and building strong safety cultures

• Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills

• Strong problem-solving abilities with a strategic and solutions-focused mindset

• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, practical guidance
