Summary
The Senior Manager of Transportation Processes is responsible for leading strategic process transformation initiatives across the transportation management organization. This role partners closely with business, operations, technology, and AI teams to understand current ways of working, identify opportunities for improvement, and design scalable, efficient processes that enhance operational performance and customer outcomes.
The Senior Manager of Transportation Processes will drive process standardization efforts by leveraging technology, automation, and AI-enabled solutions to modernize workflows and improve efficiency. This individual will lead process redesign initiatives, oversee implementation and deployment planning, establish performance metrics, and drive change management activities to ensure successful adoption of new ways of working. Through strong cross-functional leadership, this role will help shape the future of transportation operations and deliver sustainable business results.
Essential Functions
- End to end process mapping across 70 customers to capture current processes to expose variation, waste and automation potential.
- Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors
- Document and analyze current-state processes to identify variation, waste, bottlenecks, and automation opportunities.
- Lead process standardizations with AI agents to Identify areas with most benefit of agents. Establish standard processes with AI agents and engage with agent team to define outcome and scope.
- Scope, estimate, package, and prepare transformation initiatives and investment proposals for executive approval.
- Redesign business processes within Blue Yonder and align technology capabilities to future-state workflows.
- Ensure new processes are implemented properly. Establish roll-out plans, develop key metrics, engage with teams and drive accountability to the standards
- Engage cross-functional stakeholders to drive alignment, execution, and continuous improvement.
Additional Responsibilities
- Conducts Quality Assurance reviews of all projects taking place within the assigned portfolio
- Develop executive-level presentations, strategic proposals, tool set request for capital, program updates
- Defines future team structure and needs for approved strategy to be successfully implemented
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities
- Expertise in business process mapping, process optimization, and operating model design.
- Experience leading large-scale transformation, automation, or digital modernization initiatives.
- Strong understanding of AI agents, workflow automation, and business process management.
- Experience working with Blue Yonder or similar supply chain and operations technology platforms.
- Lean or process background and credentials. Strong, demonstrated ability to translate strategic objectives and goals into tactical execution
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders across operations, technology, and executive leadership.
- Strong analytical, project management, and change management capabilities

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required in business, engineering, Technology or a relevant degree
- Master's degree preferred MBA or Master’s degree
- Seven (7) years or more Project Management methodologies required
- Seven (7) years or more in Information Technology or Project Delivery leadership; including supervisory experience required
- Seven (7) years or more influencing and driving change in a matrixed organization required
- Three (3) years or more in Agile Methodologies, Agile Coaching, and Training preferred
- Five (5) years or more Related to scaled agile implementations required
- MS Office including Project, Excel, Visio, and SharePoint expert required
- Deep knowledge of Project Management Methodologies, Frameworks and Tools expert required
- Knowledge of Agile Methodologies, Frameworks and Tools intermediate preferred
- Experience with PlanView Tool intermediate preferred
- Other Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Other PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP)
- Other Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
- Other Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP)
- Other Release Train Engineer (RTE)

The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type.
