SWHWPS is a global RDD function that designs and develops Dyson’s internal technologies that enable most of our products. The team has experts in wide range of areas such as electromagnetic, mechanical, electrical, control algorithm, software, and project management.

Motor Drives and Advanced Control (MDAC) within SWHWPS is responsible for the motor control, electromagnetic design, system control, EOL production solution, software, and verifications. Our team works from early development through to the production of our designs.

About the role

Dyson offers a unique opportunity for talented individuals to join its Research, Design and Development (RDD) function in Singapore as part of MDAC team as Senior Motor Control Engineer. He/she will be applying his/her skills and experience in electrical machines, control theory, algorithms, modelling and simulation to deliver motor control solutions (drive schemes and product features algorithms) to our next generation Dyson technologies and products. You will be working as part of larger project team and some of your tasks could include:

Working alongside engineers, scientists, and technical experts across a broad range of disciplines, you’ll be comfortable learning from others but also sharing your own knowledge, ideas and opinions.
