Senior NetSuite Consultant | Non-Profit

As a Senior NetSuite Consultant at Plative, you will advise and implement NetSuite solutions for our nonprofit customers, including community foundations, food banks, and First Nations organizations. You will use deep knowledge of NetSuite's nonprofit capabilities and common sector integrations to guide customers through discovery, design, and delivery. Plative moves fast, so you will work on multiple projects at once, from inception to completion.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions to map fund accounting, grant management, and donor management requirements to NetSuite configurations.
• Manage and deliver complex NetSuite implementation projects, including solution design and project management.
• Configure restricted and unrestricted fund tracking, grant budgeting, and revenue recognition for donations and grants.
• Guide customers through NetSuite for Nonprofits setup and leading sector practices.
• Delegate tasks to analysts and guide their work to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Flag project limitations and issues early, and work with senior consultants and architects to resolve them.
• Prepare design documentation and present configuration recommendations to customers.
• Communicate delivery risks, including budget, schedule, and scope, to project managers and lead consultants.
• Guide testing approaches for internal QA and customer UAT.
• Advise customers on leading practices for board and funder reporting.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience implementing NetSuite, with a focus on Nonprofit organizations and at least one full cycle implementation with a Nonprofit.
• Strong understanding of fund accounting, grant management, and restricted/unrestricted fund tracking.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for working with customers and team members.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in spreadsheet-level data transformations.
• Familiarity with leading practices in the NetSuite ecosystem.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with community foundations, food banks, or First Nations/Indigenous organizations.
• Experience with Salesforce NPSP and donor CRM integrations.
• NetSuite Certified ERP Consultant or SuiteFoundation certification.
• Experience with NetSuite OneWorld or multi-subsidiary implementations.
• Working knowledge of SuiteScript, with the ability to read and debug scripts alongside developers.
• Exposure to AI-enabled NetSuite workflows, including Agentforce, NetSuite MCP, or other agentic tooling.
• Experience supporting pre-sales activities, including SOW scoping.
• Experience mentoring or guiding analysts.
• Experience with Jira and Google Workspace.
