At Sener, we are delivering some of the region's most complex and innovative Rail & Metro projects. We are looking for a Senior Operational Control System (OCS) / SCADA Engineer to join our UAE team, providing technical expertise across design review, installation, integration, testing, and commissioning.

The role requires mandatory experience with Hitachi/Thales OCS/SCADA solutions and will involve coordinating OCS/SCADA interfaces with the wider railway system.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Review OCS/SCADA system designs, architectures, technical specifications, drawings, calculations, and supplier documentation

• Review contractor and system integrator submissions for compliance with project requirements and technical specifications

• Coordinate OCS/SCADA interfaces with Signaling, Telecommunications, Traction Power, MEP, Cybersecurity, Rolling Stock, and other railway systems

• Support and review OCS/SCADA installation activities to ensure compliance with approved designs and technical requirements

• Participate in system integration, testing, commissioning, and technical verification activities

• Identify and resolve technical, interface, and integration issues throughout project delivery

• Participate in design reviews, technical workshops, interface meetings, and coordination activities

• Provide technical guidance on OCS/SCADA systems and ensure compliance with applicable railway standards

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Control Systems, Automation, or a related discipline

• At least 15 years of relevant experience

• Mandatory Rail Systems experience

• Mandatory experience with Hitachi/Thales OCS/SCADA solutions

• Experience with Dubai Metro is highly desirable

• Strong understanding of railway SCADA and OCS architectures, control systems, interfaces, and communications

• Experience reviewing system designs, architectures, technical specifications, and supplier submissions

• Experience supporting system installation, integration, testing, and commissioning

• Strong understanding of railway systems integration and applicable standards

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with international railway system integrators

• Dubai Metro experience

• Experience on large-scale Metro projects

• Experience across design review, installation, integration, testing, and commissioning

• GCC railway project experience
