Senior Project Leader Strategic Business Development (f/m/x)

Your Role

• Support the further development of the ZEISS Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology (SMT) strategy, i.e. prepare and accompany the strategic planning process.

• You will take on the multi-project management of projects with a high degree of complexity and strategic relevance in all areas of the ZEISS SMT segment.

• You act as an interface to the corporate areas and to external consultants as well as to other areas of ZEISS AG.

• You will continue to develop the strategy department's core strategy toolbox, with your expert knowledge.

• You advise and train the operational SMT units on very complex (strategic) issues.

• This role requires mandatory onsite attendance at our SMT Oberkochen site, at least 60% of the work week.

Your Profile

• You should have a degree in Physics; additionally, a Doctorate or top-tier MBA is desirable.

• You should have a minimum of 4 years of management consulting experience from a tier 1 management consultancy, with emphasis on general management consulting and strategy projects (ideally with technology customers).

• You have a secure command of consulting methodologies, and actively hone and develop these further.

• You have proven project management experience in complex projects and the sustainable anchoring of project results, and are able to juggle multiple projects in parallel.

• A strong analytical skillset, networked thinking and implementation skills characterize your profile.

• You have proven experience in recruiting and developing employees.

• You maintain a professional and convincing communication style at all (management) levels, and have both fluent German and English business skills.
