Want to lead the delivery of major civil engineering works on a significant power infrastructure project in Skye?

My client is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the civil engineering infrastructure and access road works on a 132kV reinforcement project. You will work closely with the Construction Director, design partners and wider delivery team to coordinate construction activities alongside HV tower and underground cabling works.

Job Role

As Senior Project Manager, you will manage the safe and efficient delivery of the civil engineering works, including procurement, programme, resources, quality and project controls. You will lead and mentor the project team, coordinate design outputs, develop construction methodologies, RAMS and ITPs, monitor progress and budgets, and ensure labour, subcontractors, plant and materials are effectively managed. You will also maintain strong relationships with the client and project stakeholders while driving safety, quality and environmental performance.

Requirements

• Civil Engineering qualification at ONC, HNC or Degree level
• At least 10 years' relevant professional experience
• Strong background in linear transportation or major civil infrastructure projects
• Valid Manager's CSCS card
• Experience leading complex construction projects and multidisciplinary teams
• Strong knowledge of programme, commercial, safety, quality and environmental requirements
• Ability to produce and authorise method statements and risk assessments
• Membership of a relevant professional body desirable but not essential
