Senior Research Programme Manager - HTA

As Senior Research Programme Manager, you will join a professional team at one of Ireland’s most reputable independent statutory authorities within Health & Social Care within their Health Technology Assessment (HTA) Directorate. Your new office is located in Dublin and is easily accessible via public transport. Your new company requires you to join their team for 11 months to cover maternity leave. You will have a hybrid work model, 1–2 days in the office.

As Senior Research Programme Manager, you will join a multidisciplinary team with responsibility for the effective implementation of programmes to deliver high-quality health technology assessments, other evidence-based advice and evidence synthesis outputs, and therefore to embed evidence-based methodology in the health decision-making processes in Ireland.

You will actively engage in the work of the HTA directorate and the wider company to deliver on the annual business plan in line with the strategic objectives as outlined in your new employers Corporate Plan.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to, leading and managing a team; stakeholder management; supporting the development of evidence-based recommendations; contributing to drafting and writing reports; providing technical leadership; contributing to the development of processes, policies, quality standards and training; contributing to the development of National HTA Guideline, project management and all other ad-hoc duties that fall into your new role.

To become Senior Research Programme Manager, you will be degree qualification or equivalent in a discipline relevant to Health Services Research, health economics or a relevant clinical area with 5 years of experience in a relevant health services research and extensive practical experience across two or more relevant fields of expertise in health services research, for example, epidemiological analysis and/or statistical analysis; data analysis; simulation modeling of clinical benefits; cost-effectiveness and budget impact of health interventions; systematic review of clinical effectiveness, safety and cost-effectiveness; clinical practice.
