Overview:

Employee will join Test Automation development team to build and evolve an in-house platform that runs large-scale load and functional tests for real-time communication and VoIP systems. He (she) will own features end-to-end, work across the stack — from Java services down to C/C++ media components and Linux networking — and help scale tests that simulate thousands of concurrent users and calls.

This is a polyglot systems role. We expect strong fundamentals, leadership capability and the ability to learn fast: several of our specialized tools and technologies are developed in-house, and you will have room to grow into them on the job.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain Java components of the test-automation platform.
• Work with real-time media and VoIP flows: signaling, media transport, NAT traversal, and transport security.
• Build and debug C/C++ components on Linux when needed.
• Package and run the system with Docker and container orchestration.
• Diagnose complex issues across application code, protocols, containers, and networking.
• Contribute to CI/CD, code review, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate daily in English with a distributed, international team.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of software development, with strong senior-level Java (concurrency, multithreading, performance).
• C/C++: able to read, build, and debug native code on Linux.
• Docker and containers; comfortable running multi-service systems.
• Linux: shell scripting, service management, troubleshooting.
• Networking fundamentals: TCP/UDP, TLS, sockets, NAT, and packet inspection.
• Real-time communications / VoIP concepts (media transport and NAT traversal), or a strong ability and appetite to ramp up quickly.
• Experience with test automation and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid OO design, clean code, and testing/debugging discipline.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.

Additional Skills (Advantageous):

• Python.
• Machine Learning / NLP —model fine-tuning, and inference (supports an ongoing data-privacy/log-anonymization initiative).
• Rust.
• WebRTC and VoIP protocols (SIP, RTP/SRTP, ICE/STUN/TURN).
• Observability and metrics/dashboards for performance analysis.
• Experience with load/performance testing at scale.
