With more than 35 years of experience and a team of 7,000 people across Australia, North America and Africa, we deliver safe, innovative and efficient solutions for our clients every day. ## About the Role Join the Barminco team as a Shotcrete Operator and support our underground mining operations across Australia, with opportunities available at sites throughout Western Australia. In this role, you’ll play a key part in applying and spraying shotcrete to underground headings and excavations to provide immediate ground support in line with mine plans and safety standards. ## What will your day to day look like? - Operate shotcrete spraying equipment to apply ground support in underground headings. - Prepare work areas, including hydroscaling and fibrecrete as required. - Monitor shotcrete thickness, quality, and coverage to meet design specifications. - Conduct pre-start checks and basic maintenance on shotcrete plant and equipment. - Work closely with jumbo, charge-up, and service crews to maintain safe work sequences. ## Our ideal candidate background includes - Previous experience working as a Shotcrete Operator working in underground mining. - Demonstrated ability to operate shotcrete spraying equipment (manual or robotic). - Knowledge of underground safety procedures permits and exclusions zones. - We welcome personnel from a tunnelling background from non-mining industries! - Ability to meet all site access requirements (including, but not limited to, Medical, DAS, NPC & valid Manual Driver's Licence). ## What can we offer you? - Competitive pay with superannuation on all hours worked. - Various rosters available. - FIFO and DIDO options across a range of locations. - Opportunities for career progression with a global organisation (ever considered working overseas?) - Significant training and career development opportunities - Employee discounts across health, tech, travel, entertainment, retail and more. - Work in a collaborative, culture-driven team. ## Recruitment Process We’re committed to creating an inclusive workplace where diverse perspectives and experiences drive success.
