Singapore Technical ArchitectLead (_NET & Azure)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Architect/Lead (.NET & Azure) to lead the architecture, design, and delivery of enterprise-scale, cloud-native solutions built on the Microsoft technology stack.

This role combines solution architecture, technical leadership, engineering governance, and hands-on guidance of development teams. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, business analysts, architects, developers, UI/UX teams, and client representatives to design secure, scalable, resilient, and maintainable solutions.

The individual will be responsible for driving architecture decisions, establishing technical standards, mentoring engineering teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality technology solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Design

• Design enterprise-grade application architectures using Microsoft technologies and Azure cloud services.
• Define solution blueprints, architecture standards, and technical roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
• Review and approve technical designs, solution approaches, and implementation strategies.
• Establish architectural patterns that support scalability, resiliency, maintainability, security, and performance.
• Lead architecture reviews, technical governance activities, and design assurance processes.
• Drive application modernization and cloud migration initiatives.
• Design mission-critical and highly available systems.
• Apply Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Event-Driven Architecture principles where appropriate.

 

Technical Leadership

• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance across multiple development teams.
• Mentor developers, technical leads, and engineering teams to drive technical excellence.
• Promote best practices, engineering standards, and sound architectural decision-making.
• Conduct architecture reviews, design reviews, and code reviews.
• Support project planning, estimation, risk management, and delivery activities.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the software development lifecycle.

 

Cloud & Integration Architecture

• Architect and design cloud-native solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure services.
• Design microservices, APIs, distributed systems, and event-driven platforms.
• Define enterprise integration strategies, patterns, and best practices.
• Support cloud transformation, modernization, and platform migration programs.
• Design highly available, resilient, and scalable platforms to meet business and operational requirements.

 

Engineering Excellence

• Promote Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, and secure coding practices.
• Establish standards for CI/CD, DevOps, testing, monitoring, observability, and operational readiness.
• Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability requirements.
• Review non-functional requirements and ensure compliance with architectural and security standards.
• Advocate engineering excellence and continuous improvement practices.

 

Stakeholder Management

• Engage with clients and stakeholders through technical discussions, workshops, and solution presentations.
• Translate business requirements into practical and effective technical solutions.
• Communicate architecture decisions and recommendations to both business and technical audiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
