What you'll do
- Establish site control, grid lines and levels
- Set out foundations, drainage, services and substructure
- Set out and check the ground floor slabs and holding down points ahead of the frame
- Check levels and setting out at each stage of the frame
- Carry out setting out for the envelope and fit out through to completion
- Work from drawings and specifications to ensure the build matches the design
- Keep accurate site records, as built information and progress reports
- Liaise with the Site Manager and subcontractors on sequencing and site queries
- Support quality control, BCAR compliance and health and safety on site

Our client is an established Irish main contractor recruiting a Site Engineer for an apartment development in Milltown, Dublin 6. The engineer joins at pre-frame stage and stays through to completion, with responsibility for setting out and survey control across substructure, frame, envelope and fit out.
