With a strong pipeline of projects and continued growth, they are seeking an ambitious Intermediate Site Engineer to join their team and play a key role in the successful delivery of landmark residential developments. Your new role
As an Intermediate Site Engineer, you will support the Site Management team in the delivery of a high-rise residential development, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for setting out, ensuring compliance with design specifications, coordinating subcontractors, and monitoring construction progress throughout the project lifecycle.
This role offers excellent exposure to large-scale residential construction and provides a clear pathway for career progression within a well-established contractor.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out setting out and surveying activities using Total Station and GPS equipment.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Liaise closely with site management, subcontractors, design teams, and consultants.
- Monitor construction activities and report on progress against programme schedules.
- Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of site reports, records, and as-built documentation.
- Coordinate subcontractors and ensure works are delivered safely and efficiently.
- Identify and resolve technical issues on site as they arise.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company procedures.
- Support the Site Manager and Project Manager in the achievement of project milestones.
- Attend site meetings and contribute to project planning and coordination.
- Maintain accurate site records, including daily diaries and progress reports.
What you'll need to succeed
- Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- 2–5 years' experience in a Site Engineer position within the construction industry.
- Experience working on residential, apartment, or high-rise building projects is highly desirable.
- Proficient in setting out using Total Station, GPS, and related surveying equipment.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, engineering principles, and quality standards.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical information.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction management software.
- Full driving licence.
- Eligibility to work in Ireland.
What you'll get in return

You will receive a salary ranging up to €70,000 DOE, a company vehicle or vehicle allowance as preferred, a fuel card, company pension contributions after the first 6 months of employment, 25 annual leave days, early finish on Fridays and flexible working arrangements where required.
