Site Engineer - Main Contractor, Cork

A well-established main contractor is seeking a Site Engineer to join its growing project team in Cork.

Your new role

As Site Engineer, you will support the site management team in the successful delivery of projects, ensuring works are completed safely, accurately and in line with project specifications.

Key responsibilities will include:

Setting out and surveying works on site
Coordinating subcontractors and site activities
Ensuring works are completed in accordance with drawings and specifications
Monitoring quality standards and carrying out inspections
Assisting with site records, reporting and documentation
Supporting project delivery in line with programme requirements
Liaising with site management, design teams and subcontractors
Promoting and maintaining high health and safety standards

What you'll need to succeed

Degree or qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline

3+ years' experience in a Site Engineer or similar role
Experience working on construction projects with a main contractor preferred
Strong setting-out and surveying skills
Proficiency with AutoCAD and surveying equipment
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Full Irish driving licence
