What you'll do

  • Provides input to and supports plant and company safety initiatives.
  • Manages the development, modification, and maintenance of quality evaluation and control systems within areas of product responsibility, ensuring compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and government regulations.
  • Manages and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.
  • Manages statistical analysis projects to assess the cost and determine responsibility for products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.
  • Manages the auditing process for quality systems to identify deficiencies and ensure corrective action plans are developed and executed in a timely manner.
  • Ensures corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation complies with customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Manages the development of sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable business process improvements. Reports to management, as required, on the status of quality assurance programs and practices.
  • Manages compliance with all site-required agency certifications related to product and process quality, including ISO 9001, ISO 13485, QS9000, ISO 14000, and TS16949.
  • Manages upfront quality planning for new products to ensure appropriate quality systems and processes are developed and implemented to support successful product introduction.
  • Exchanges knowledge and information with other Jabil facilities to ensure best practices are shared throughout the Jabil organization.
  • Generates and maintains applicable quality system documentation as needed, including documents such as Device Master Records (DMR), Design History Files (DHF), validation protocols, and other documentation required to support customer projects.
  • Ensures conformity of initial and ongoing validations performed in support of GMP quality systems.

JOB SUMMARY

Manages, through subordinate personnel, the development and maintenance of quality evaluation and control systems and protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished products for a business unit or corporate function. Manages quality system audits to identify deficiencies and ensure corrective actions are implemented. Oversees the development of inspection and testing processes, mechanisms, and equipment for new and existing products. Conducts quality assurance testing as appropriate.

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant industry experience required.
