Full description from employer

Work Flexibility: Field-based

Stryker is a global leader in medical technology — and we're driven by one mission: to make healthcare better. Our teams design, install, and support world-class Operating Theatres across Australia and New Zealand. Behind every life-changing procedure is a space you helped build.

As a Site Supervisor, you'll be the final touchpoint in a hospital's journey to a fully integrated Operating Theatre — the last person the customer sees before we hand over a space that will change lives. You'll manage onsite installations from end to end, working alongside a tight-knit team of five who'll have your back every step of the way.

This role is less about what you already know, and more about who you are. We'll teach you the technical side — what we can't teach is the character, drive, and people skills you bring with you.

What you'll do

  • Lead and support contractors on-site, building trust and keeping everyone aligned

  • Be the face of Stryker to hospital stakeholders, builders, and clinical teams — building strong relationships that last beyond the project

  • Have the difficult conversations when things don't go to plan, and resolve them calmly and professionally

  • Conduct site visits and quality inspections to ensure work meets Stryker standards

  • Coordinate SWMS, inductions, and onsite safety compliance

  • Manage product receipt, stocktakes, and returns

  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, Sales, and Endoscopy teams to ensure successful delivery and go-live

  • Oversee Return to Site (RTS) activities, raise Product Issues, and drive corrective actions

  • Review drawings, BOMs, and site readiness — spotting risks before they become problems

  • Support rack building, prewiring, commissioning, and system integration (full training provided)

  • Deliver walkthroughs, handovers, and end-user training

  • Look for smarter, better ways of doing things — and speak up when you see them

Who you are

We're looking for someone with the right mindset and potential to grow into a great Site Supervisor. That means:

  • A natural relationship-builder — people trust you quickly, and you enjoy working with all kinds of stakeholders, from tradies to surgeons

  • Comfortable having the hard conversations — you can hold your ground respectfully when quality, safety, or timelines are at stake

  • Team-oriented — you contribute to team culture, back your colleagues, and take pride in shared wins

  • Curious and hands-on — you like being on the tools, on-site, and figuring things out

  • Detail-focused — you notice the small things others miss

  • Self-motivated — happy working independently, but never afraid to ask for help

  • Willing and available to travel Monday–Friday across ANZ (weekends are yours)

What would help (but isn't essential)

  • Any hands-on, technical, or trade background (electrical, AV, mechanical, construction, healthcare — or something we haven't thought of)

  • Experience reading technical drawings — or an interest in learning

  • Coordinating people, contractors, or projects in any setting

  • Recent graduates and career-changers are warmly welcomed — if you've got the potential, we'll build the rest with you

Why join Stryker?

  • Work with a tight-knit team of five who genuinely support each other

  • Weekday-only travel — your weekends stay yours

  • Structured training and mentoring from day one — no prior Stryker experience needed

  • Real career growth — grow into leading larger, more complex projects

  • Access to world-class learning, development, and employee benefits

  • Be part of a company that values integrity, impact, and people-first culture

If you're hands-on, love working with people, and want to help build spaces where life-changing surgeries happen — we want to hear from you.

You don't need to tick every box. If this sounds like you, apply today and let's have a chat.
