From our office in Ghent, weu2019re looking for a Software Engineer u2013 Java Backend whou2019s eager to contribute to the development of our next-generation calculation engine, designed to process millions of complex leasing scenarios at high speed and scale.

What youu2019ll do...

n

n
• Design and develop backend solutions for our next-generation calculation engine, built to handle complex, high-volume calculations in milliseconds.
n
• Help build a scalable system capable of pre-calculating millions of leasing scenarios, taking into account promotions, services and extensive configuration options.
n
• Work closely with fellow engineers and Product Owners to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
n
• Contribute throughout the development lifecycle as part of an agile Scrum team, from refinement and implementation to testing and continuous improvement.
n
• Share your expertise within SOFICOu2019s global developer community, contributing to engineering best practices and technical innovation.

What you bring...

n

n
• Professional experience as a Software Engineer, with strong backend development skills in Java 17, Java EE7 and Java frameworks.
n
• Experience designing and developing software using a microservices architecture.
n
• Solid experience with relational databases such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
n
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with fluent English and the ability to collaborate effectively within an international engineering environment.
