JD – Solution Architect
Role Overview:
We are looking for an accomplished Solution Architect with over 15+ years of IT experience, specializing in Java, Spring, Microservices, and Cloud-Native Architectures. The role demands a strong track record in solutioning, team leadership, and enterprise architecture design, along with expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and modern DevOps practices. The ideal candidate should be a thought leader capable of driving technology strategy, solution design, and delivery for complex business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the solution architecture and design for enterprise-scale, mission-critical applications.
- Define and enforce architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices across teams.
- Provide leadership in designing and building scalable Java / Spring Boot / Microservices-based solutions.
- Lead and mentor multiple development teams, ensuring effective delivery and adherence to architectural standards.
- Drive the adoption of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) for modern application deployments.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders, product managers, and business leaders to align technology solutions with business goals.
- Conduct solutioning exercises, RFP/RFI responses, technical presentations, and client workshops.
- Ensure that solutions meet enterprise standards for scalability, performance, security, and compliance.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and evaluate their applicability for organizational needs.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 15+ years of IT experience, with 5-7 years in Solution/Enterprise Architecture roles.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, RESTful APIs.
- Proven experience in designing Microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- In-depth knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and container orchestration platforms.
- Solid understanding of cloud environments (AWS / Azure / GCP).
- Strong exposure to DevOps pipelines (CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, Maven, SonarQube, etc.).
- Demonstrated team handling and leadership skills, with experience in guiding large engineering teams.
- Ability to create and present HLDs, LLDs, and technical solution documents.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and client-facing skills.
Good to Have:
- Exposure to event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Experience with API Gateway, Service Mesh, and enterprise security frameworks (OAuth2, JWT, SAML).
- Certifications in Cloud Architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP), Kubernetes, or TOGAF.
- Experience in large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
Education:
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
