What you'll do

  • Be the focal point in the defined geography for the solution(s), of which you have been designated as an expert.
  • Participate in account planning and sales strategy focusing on new customer acquisition and existing customer expansion.
  • Facilitate and provide training to the sales team on the values and outcomes of specific solution(s).
  • Co-operate with the sales team in promoting the solution to all customers with presentations and demonstrations.
  • Advise Technology Consultants and sales on proposal generation and validation.

  • Define and articulate differentiators and values versus competition for the solution. Analyse products, have knowledge of competitor's strategy, further define competitive differentiators.
  • Translate competitive solutions into a RA solution that meets customer's expectations.
  • Seek out and participate in training opportunities to develop technical skills.
  • Provide product gap and development feedback for the solution to appropriate organisations.
  • Share insights with peers.
  • Focus on opportunities that support Rockwell Automation's strategy.

  • Intermediate level of expertise in MES/Information Solutions, Networks and Services and Solutions, with a basic understanding of automation and electrical devices.

Solution Consultant

Mumbai

You will support sales at main customer pursuits by providing specific solution expertise in a defined geographical area. The Solution Consultant is the solution expert for the sales organisation by assisting with delivering outcome-based messaging to customers at executive and management levels. The Solution Consultant has a broad understanding of all related products and delivery offerings from RA, partners and competitors in the designated solution area.

You will report to the Consultant Leader and work onsite in Mumbai, India.

Your Responsibilities:
