Sandy Lane Hotel, an AAA Five Diamond, Forbes Five-Star exclusive resort and a member of Leading Hotels of the World, is seeking to recruit a Spa Attendant.

 

The Role

The Spa Attendant is responsible for orientating guests to the spa facilities and providing personal guest service.

 

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Escorts guests to their lockers in the absence of the spa therapist
• Provides orientation tour, explaining spa amenities offered and answering guests’ questions
• Maintains a safe, clean and well-organized spa environment through consistent monitoring of the locker/facility areas.

• Provides regular checks of locker/ facility areas ensuring that the guest’s needs are exceeded
• Stocks locker room supplies and amenities and maintains accurate supply lists and inventory sheets.
• Stocks treatment rooms with product, linen, supplies and amenities and maintain accurate supply lists and inventory sheets.
• Collects spa supplies from the Hotel’s Main Storeroom and Purchasing department.
• Reviews guest appointment/schedules and escorts guests
• Actively promotes the spa, treatments, services, sessions and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available.
• Handle guests’ questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
• Provides accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by guests, ensuring complete guest satisfaction.
• Develops ability to work without constant direct supervision and remain at assigned post for extended periods of time.
• Maintains a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.
• Regularly attends, participates in and support training and staff meetings for the spa.
• Assists in all areas of spa operation as requested by your supervisors or coaches.

• Communicates to your supervisors or coaches any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention.

 

Our ideal candidate must possess:

• A good secondary school education and at least 1 year’s previous experience in a customer service.
• Ability to be efficient and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• enthusiasm and excellent customer service skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and  a friendly, outgoing personality.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.

• Ability to work in a team and pay attention to detail

 

 

The successful candidate must be flexible with their schedule, supporting the needs of the spa.
