Special Education Teacher - Queens, NY
Pay: $70.00 - $90.00 per hour
Hours: 12:30pm to 4:30pm
JOB DESCRIPTION:
We here at Licensed Behavior Analyst Professional Services, PLLC are looking for a dedicated Special Education Teacher for 1:1 instruction with students who have autism or significant learning needs. If you thrive in individualized
settings and you're skilled at ABA-informed instruction — your impact here will be profound.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide individualized 1:1 instruction to students with autism or significant learning needs
- Implement ABA-informed instructional strategies and collect data on student progress
- Maintain current NYS Special Education licensure and all required DOE clearances
- Collaborate with BCBAs, related service providers, and families on student goals
- Adjust instructional strategies based on data-driven outcomes
SKILLS:
- Active NYS Special Education teaching license and current DOE clearances
- Experience providing 1:1 instruction to students with autism or developmental disabilities
- Familiarity with ABA-based instructional strategies and data collection
- Strong relationship-building skills with students and families
- Patience, creativity, and commitment to individualized student success
