About this role

Speech Pathologist – Private Practice | Ipswich, Brisbane

We are currently seeking a passionate Speech Pathologist to join a well-established and highly regarded private practice in Ipswich, Brisbane.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Speech Pathologist looking to join a supportive, collaborative team where you can build a caseload around your clinical interests and experience. You will have the flexibility to work with children, adults, or a combination of both, depending on your preferences.

The Role

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Provide high-quality assessment and intervention to clients across a range of presentations
  • Develop a caseload based around your preferred client group — paediatric, adult or mixed
  • Work collaboratively with families, carers, teachers, support coordinators and other healthcare professionals
  • Develop individualised therapy plans and evidence-based interventions
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reports
  • Participate in case discussions and multidisciplinary collaboration
  • Build strong, meaningful relationships with clients and their families
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive private practice environment

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A recognised Bachelor or Master's degree in Speech Pathology
  • Current Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) membership and/or eligibility for membership
  • Relevant Australian work rights
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting clients to achieve their communication and swallowing goals
  • The ability to work independently while also contributing effectively to a team
  • A commitment to evidence-based and client-centred practice
  • A current driver's licence is desirable

Both experienced Speech Pathologists and clinicians early in their careers are encouraged to apply.
