Summary:

In this role, you will lead the implementation and optimization of NonAcute contracts for Vizient clients by coordinating contract connections, analyzing spend and pricing opportunities, and supporting successful onboarding. You will collaborate with clients, suppliers, distributors, and internal teams to ensure accurate contract activation, resolve implementation challenges, and deliver exceptional client experience while driving operational efficiency and cost savings.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead multiple implementation and contract connection projects for Vizient NonAcute clients.

  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with clients, distributors, suppliers, account executives, and internal business partners.

  • Partner with Account Executives and analysts to review contract, cost, and tier analyses and develop implementation plans.

  • Prepare and submit contract activation documentation, including Online Tier Activation (OTA), Letter of Commitment (LOC), Letter of Participation (LOP), and Contract Price Activation (CPA) requests.

  • Monitor contract activation progress and follow up with suppliers and distributors to ensure contract connections and pricing tiers are completed accurately.

  • Resolve contract request denials, pricing discrepancies, and implementation exceptions in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Participate in client meetings to assess implementation needs and support service strategies with Account Executives.

  • Respond to client inquiries, conduct research, and provide timely issue resolution related to contracts, pricing, and implementation activities.

  • Maintain accurate client membership records and contract data to support successful implementations and ongoing operational excellence.

  • Identify opportunities to improve implementation processes, strengthen client outcomes, and enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.

  • 2 or more years of relevant experience required.

  • Experience in healthcare, supply chain, healthcare distribution, or supplier operations required.

  • Experience supporting health system supply chain functions, including materials management, supply expense management, or contract optimization preferred.

  • Knowledge of contract pricing processes, supplier relationships, and distribution operations preferred.

  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, distributors, and cross-functional teams.

  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and critical problem-solving skills.

  • Demonstrated project management, organization, and prioritization skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.

  • Willingness to travel.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $59,600.00 to $101,200.00.
