Job Summary:

Distributing staff resources equitably across ProMedica is the top priority of the Resource Pool Staffing Coordinator.  

You will ensure 24-hour nursing staff coverage by completing staffing sessions, adjusting assignments, and documenting staffing outcomes. You will work with Nursing Leadership to fill vacancies and determine daily staffing needs. 

In this role, you will act as a liaison between the Central Staffing office and Nursing Leadership to foster a high-performance, team-oriented atmosphere.

REQUIREMENTS 

  • Education: High School graduation or equivalent 
  • Skills: Demonstrate oral and written communication, problem identification, and problem-solving skills. Able to work independently with little to no supervision and error. Basic computer skills, data entry/retrieval and applicable software knowledge such as Windows, Microsoft Office, and scheduling platforms. Willingness to learn new software applications and updates. Use of copy/fax machine. Able to compile statistics and use basic math. Ability to understand the variability of work in planning and problem solving. 

 

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS  

  • Education: Associate degree 
  • Skills: Scheduling platforms including but not limited to API Staffing and Scheduling. 
  • Years of Experience: 1-3 years of relevant clerical experience.
