Job Description

• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, crockery, cutlery and work areas.
• Operate dishwashing and cleaning equipment safely and correctly.
• Ensure all dishes, glasses, cutlery and kitchen utensils are properly cleaned and stored.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all kitchen and back-of-house areas.
• Collect and dispose of waste according to the hotel's hygiene and environmental procedures.
• Assist with cleaning floors, walls, storage areas, and other designated areas.
• Ensure cleaning chemicals are used, stored and handled safely.
• Assist kitchen and F&B teams with the movement
• Maintain cleanliness of garbage areas and ensure waste bins are emptied regularly.
• Report damaged equipment, maintenance issues, shortages, or hygiene concerns to the supervisor.
• Follow all health, safety, food hygiene and HACCP procedures.
• Support the team during busy service periods and special events.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, or kitchen environment would be an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety
