  • Raise, manage, and track Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs) through effective closure.
  • Lead and support root cause investigations using structured problem-solving and corrective action methodologies.
  • Coordinate receiving inspection activities and verify incoming materials against specifications and quality standards.
  • Review supplier quality documentation, including FAI, PPAP, Certificates of Analysis, and related records.
  • Maintain supplier quality records, non-conformance data, performance scorecards, and reporting metrics.
  • Monitor supplier performance, analyze trends, identify risks, and escalate issues to support production continuity.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to resolve quality concerns and ensure the supply of conforming materials.
  • Support supplier assessments, onboarding activities, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives to improve supplier quality performance

  • Bachelor's Degree or Associate Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
  • 2-4 years' experience in manufacturing, quality control, supplier quality, or a related operational environment.
  • Knowledge of quality management tools and methodologies including 5 Whys, 8D, CAPA, and basic FMEA.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and quality data analysis.
  • Experience using ERP and/or Quality Management Systems (SAP, MasterControl, or equivalent).

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or AS9100 is desirable.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Supplier Quality Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that suppliers consistently deliver materials and components that meet quality, engineering, and operational requirements, supporting uninterrupted manufacturing operations. The role drives supplier quality improvement through non-conformance management, corrective action resolution, supplier performance monitoring, and cross-functional collaboration to reduce risk, prevent recurring issues, and maintain a reliable supply of conforming products.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL: 

  • Post-secondary education in Engineering, Quality Management, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
  • 2-4 years' experience in manufacturing, quality control, supplier quality, or a related operational environment.
  • Knowledge of quality management tools and methodologies including 5 Whys, 8D, CAPA, and basic FMEA.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
