About this role
Job Purpose (Significance of the role & Objectives)
Maintains records of materials in inventory and on order. Monitors reorder points and initiate action to replenish stock. Reconciles discrepancies in inventories and notifies management of irregularities.
Key Responsibilities and Deliverables
- Oversee the receipt, loading, unloading & Storage of incoming Materials.
- Examining related materials for physical counting & defect free condition from Warehouse viewpoints.
- Offering received material for inspection & assigning defined location at Warehouse for storage.
- Ensures that all stock is stored in correct locations in the warehouse.
- Schedule materials being transferred to and from warehouse; coordinates transfer of inventory between departments.
- Conducts physical inventory, compares results to computerized inventory, and reconciles any differences.
- Warehouse planning and Design, Warehouse manpower planning, Operation Planning, Packaging Design, and Sourcing
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned the area of operation.
- Monitoring inventory levels using software programs and initiating transportation or shipments when inventory levels become too low or high
- Ensure that all warehouse operations are performed in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to develop strategic plans and procedures to increase the efficiency of warehouse practices
- Monitor and report on warehouse performance metrics.
- Overseeing transportation involves arranging the movement of goods, selecting optimal transportation methods, and ensuring compliance with legal and safety standards. .
Desired Qualifications: Required Qualification, Knowledge, and Experience
- Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control.
- Ability to reconcile stock counts to report data.
- Database management skills.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.
- Ability to receive, stock, and/or deliver goods.
- Clerical, word processing, and/or office skills.
- Knowledge of invoicing procedures.
