  • Develop and execute the regional Talent and Learning strategy aligned to business priorities and long-term workforce needs.
  • Partner with business and HR leaders to identify critical capability requirements and design targeted interventions that drive performance and growth.
  • Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of integrated talent management practices, including succession planning, talent reviews, workforce planning, leadership development, and performance optimisation.
  • Build sustainable leadership and talent pipelines across the region, ensuring readiness for key business-critical roles.

  • Translate and localise global talent and learning programmes to ensure meaningful adoption, engagement, and impact within SSA markets.

Talent & Learning Lead, Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA)

Shape the future capability of a business transforming across Africa

We are seeking an experienced Talent & Learning leader to drive the strategic talent, leadership, and capability agenda across our Sub-Saharan Africa region.

This is a critical leadership role that sits at the intersection of business strategy and people capability. Partnering closely with senior business leaders, HR teams, and global Centers of Excellence, you will lead the development and execution of talent and learning strategies that strengthen leadership effectiveness, build organisational capability, accelerate succession readiness, and ensure the business has the talent required to deliver its future ambitions. 

The role offers the opportunity to influence organisational performance at scale across multiple African markets, translating global talent frameworks into locally relevant, high-impact solutions that drive measurable business outcomes. 

What you'll be accountable for

As the Talent & Learning Lead for SSA, you will:
