  • Develop and monitor program metrics, key performance indicators, and reporting to evaluate program effectiveness, measure success, identify trends, and support data-driven decision making
  • Provide coaching and guidance to program participants, and partner with people leaders to support performance, development planning, and successful transitions between rotations and into permanent roles

As a Talent and Organizational Development Specialist, you will lead the strategic development, execution, and continuous improvement of Irving Oil's New Graduate Rotational Program. Reporting within the Talent and Organizational Development team, you will partner closely with HR Operations, business leaders and the Student Programming team to build a seamless early talent pipeline, identifying and supporting high-potential students as they transition into new graduate opportunities. You will oversee graduate recruitment efforts, align program initiatives with workforce planning, and deliver an exceptional participant experience throughout the program lifecycle. Your goal will be to build a best-in-class early career program that develops future talent while supporting business needs. Your success will be measured by your ability to drive program outcomes, achieve retention and student-to-employee conversion targets, strengthen stakeholder partnerships, leverage data-driven insights, and continuously evolve the program to remain competitive, impactful, and aligned with Irving Oil’s long-term talent strategy.

Your Responsibilities

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage talent programs, processes, and governance frameworks that support strategic workforce and business objectives

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and continuous improvement capabilities, with experience using data and reporting to measure program effectiveness, inform decision-making and drive results

  • Excellent organizational, project and program management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders and timelines in a dynamic environment

  • Strong communication, facilitation and presentation skills, combined with sound business judgment, professionalism, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional employee experience

The expected annual salary range for this position is $66,267 - $87,804. Placement within the range will be based on relevant experience, qualifications and skills.
