About the Role
Ysgol Dyffryn Taf is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Mathematics Teacher to join its dedicated teaching team on a maternity cover basis. The position offers an opportunity for a passionate educator to become part of a supportive and forward-thinking Mathematics department.
The successful candidate will help pupils develop their mathematical knowledge, confidence and problem-solving abilities while encouraging a positive attitude towards the subject. You will work closely with colleagues to provide engaging lessons and create learning opportunities that enable every pupil to reach their potential.
Our Mathematics curriculum covers key areas including number, numerical reasoning, measurement, geometry, algebra and data, while also supporting the principles of the New Curriculum for Wales.
A key part of the role will be helping pupils understand how mathematics applies to everyday situations. Through practical examples and real-world contexts, you will encourage learners to develop their reasoning, creativity and critical-thinking skills.

Welsh Language Requirement
