For your awareness, IFF has announced its intention to sell its Food Ingredients Business to CVC Capital Partners. The sale is presently expected to close in the first half of 2027, pending regulatory approvals and other closing conditions. The Food Ingredients business unit will remain a part of IFF until close and, at such time, it will transition to CVC Capital Partners. In applying for this position, you acknowledge your awareness that the position is a part of the Food Ingredients business unit and has been identified to transition to CVC Capital Partners.

Where You’ll Make a Difference

  • Accurately prepare, stage, and process batches according to production schedules, specifications, and quality requirements.
  • Read and interpret computer-generated batch reports, production documentation, and packaging instructions.
  • Verify raw materials, lot numbers, quantities, and warehouse locations to ensure batch accuracy and traceability.
  • Operate blending, mixing, packaging, and weighing equipment while maintaining required accuracy standards.
  • Perform material handling activities, including operating forklifts and moving raw materials, packaging, and finished goods safely.
  • Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts, physical inventories, and proper documentation of material usage.
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP principles, food safety standards, and quality procedures throughout all production activities.
  • Collect retain and quality control samples according to established procedures and documentation requirements.
  • Monitor raw material availability and communicate potential shortages to Production Leadership.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while adhering to all company safety, sanitation, and operational procedures

What Makes You the Right Fit

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing, food production, chemical, ingredients, or industrial environment preferred.
  • Ability to read and follow batch sheets, production orders, and standard operating procedures.
  • Strong mathematical skills for weighing, measuring, verifying quantities, and inventory transactions.
  • Experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts or willingness to become certified.
  • Ability to understand inventory, lot traceability, and production documentation requirements.
  • Working knowledge of GMP, HACCP, food safety, and quality systems.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and potential quality concerns.
  • Effective verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to regularly lift and move materials in accordance with company safety guidelines.

How You Would Stand Out

  • Experience working with SAP or other ERP systems in a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous experience operating blending, mixing, packaging, or processing equipment.
  • Experience training or mentoring production team members.
