Technical Claims Handler

A leading Channel Islands insurance business is looking for an experienced Technical Claims Handler to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a varied role combining complex claims management with technical support and guidance across the wider Claims function.

You'll manage a portfolio of complex and large loss claims, provide technical advice on referrals, support payment and complaint handling, and contribute to quality, training and continuous improvement. You'll work closely with customers, underwriters, suppliers and colleagues to ensure claims are handled effectively and consistently. You'll have strong insurance claims experience, ideally with exposure to complex or large loss claims, together with a sound understanding of claims principles and negotiation. Cert CII, or a willingness to work towards it, is required, along with strong communication, analytical and relationship-building skills and a commitment to continued professional development.
