Test Analyst / Tester – Cards

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Test Analyst / Tester with Cards domain experience to execute functional testing across new Cards platform implementations, product launches, integrations, and Visa certification activities.

This is a hands-on testing role responsible for validating end-to-end Cards solutions through structured test design and execution. You will create and execute test scenarios, manage test data, identify and document defects, support retesting, and contribute to test closure and reporting.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, methodical, and experienced in testing Cards issuing flows and integrated banking environments.

Key Responsibilities

Test Design & Execution

• Design, prepare, and execute functional test cases, scenarios, and scripts for Cards issuing flows
• Perform functional testing across Cards platforms, integrations, and supporting channels
• Validate end-to-end business processes against defined requirements and expected results
• Execute assigned test cycles within agreed timelines and quality standards

Cards & Visa Testing

• Support testing activities for new Cards platform installations and product launches
• Execute test scenarios covering Cards issuing processes and related integrations
• Support Visa ecosystem and certification testing requirements
• Validate system behavior across relevant platforms, interfaces, and channels

Test Data & Defect Management

• Prepare and manage test data required for planned testing activities
• Identify, document, and log defects with clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence
• Track assigned defects and coordinate with relevant teams throughout resolution
• Perform defect retesting and regression testing where required

Test Closure & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of test execution, results, defects, and outstanding issues
• Support test progress and quality reporting activities
• Assist with test closure documentation and evidence
• Escalate testing blockers, dependencies, and quality concerns to the Test Manager

Experience Requirements

• Experience as a Test Analyst, QA Analyst, Software Tester, or similar testing role
• Previous experience within Cards, banking, payments, or financial services
• Hands-on experience designing and executing functional test cases and scenarios
• Experience testing Cards platforms, issuing processes, integrations, or channels
• Experience with defect logging, tracking, retesting, and test closure activities
• Exposure to Visa certification or card scheme testing is highly preferred

Success Measures

Success in this role means completing assigned Cards testing accurately and on schedule, with clear documentation of test results and defects.

The Test Analyst / Tester will help ensure Cards platforms, issuing flows, integrations, and Visa certification scenarios are thoroughly validated and ready to progress toward implementation and product launch.
