Tooling Fabricator- Huntsville, AL

Starting Pay: 34.91

Available Shifts:

- 1st Shift 5a-1p

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain manual and CNC milling machines to manufacture tooling components.
Operate manual and CNC lathes to machine precision parts to specified tolerances.
Perform welding and metal fabrication.
Complete epoxy and fiberglass lay-up processes for tooling construction and repair.
Fabricate and form metal components using bending equipment and techniques.
Interpret detailed engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
Utilize precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools, to verify dimensional accuracy.
Use a variety of hand and power tools to assemble, modify, and repair tooling and fixtures.
Maintain quality, safety, and workmanship standards throughout all fabrication processes.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support tooling requirements and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proficiency in manual and CNC machining operations, including mills and lathes.
Experience with welding, metal fabrication, and forming processes.
Knowledge of epoxy and fiberglass lay-up techniques.
Ability to read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Strong understanding of precision measurement and inspection methods.
Skilled in the use of common hand and power tools.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a manufacturing environment.
