  • Maintain accurate records of all plant, vehicles, tools, and equipment, including certifications, inspection dates, service history, and hire agreements
  • Coordinate servicing, repairs, MOTs, relevant inspections, and maintenance schedules with internal teams and external suppliers
  • Manage plant and vehicle hire - raising orders, tracking on/off hire dates, and ensuring cost effective usage
  • Support fleet tracking systems, updating mileage, hours, defects, and utilisation data
  • Process driver and operator documentation, including licence checks, training records, inductions, and competency cards
  • Handle defect and damage reports, ensuring issues are logged, escalated, and resolved promptly
  • Logging and managing parking & speeding fines and other traffic offences along with re-charge of damage and costs where appropriate.
  • Maintain the P11D and working with the Plant & Transport team, HR and payroll regarding these records.
  • Ensure vehicle requests from HR and Project Managers are fulfilled/authorised in a timely manner.
  • Providing support to the team who are managing any RTC's, liaising with the hire companies and workshops/companies that are relevant.
  • Assist as directed to support the team.

Summary

A tier one contractor and Project Partner, specialising in building sustainable lifelines for the transport, infrastructure and energy markets is looking to hire a Transport Co-Ordinator to join their team in Doncaster .

As a Transport Co-Ordinator you will provide duties as an administrator working in the Plant and Transport department supporting the team with general administration.

Main Duties:

Person Specification

- Experience in plant, fleet, transport, or asset administration (preferred)
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Confident communicator across all levels of the business
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and asset/fleet management systems
- High attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and support as required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- The ability to stay calm and meet deadlines.
- PTS card desirable
- Valid UK driving licence and vehicle - desirable

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000.00 dependant on experience plus:

- 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays each year.
- Pension - 5% employee (salary exchange scheme, employee can contribute more) 5% employer contribution.
- Health cash plan - optional benefit to assist towards daily items such a dental, opticians, prescriptions, GP anytime, EAP support including dependent children.
