About the Role
We are seeking experienced Traveling Commissioning Engineers for data center and critical facility projects nationwide. This is a W-2 contract opportunity supporting startup, testing, and commissioning activity in highly technical environments.
Responsibilities
- Support commissioning activities on electrical systems including switchgear, UPS, generators, PDUs, and related mission critical infrastructure
- Execute functional performance testing and integrated systems testing
- Review, follow, and help develop commissioning scripts and procedures
- Document test results and prepare clear field reports
- Coordinate with contractors, owners, operators, and facility teams
Requirements
- 3+ years of commissioning experience in data centers, critical facilities, or related mission critical environments
- Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems
- Experience with startup, testing, and turnover documentation
- NETA exposure is a plus
- Ability to travel extensively for project work
Compensation
$45-75/hour depending on experience. Travel/per diem may be available depending on project. W-2 contract position through Rinvio.
