Job Summary:
Learns and supports the installation of Acoustical Ceiling Tile (ACT) and suspension systems under close supervision. Assists with material handling, site preparation, and basic installation tasks while developing technical skills and familiarity with DPR standards. Builds foundational knowledge of ceiling installation methods, safety practices, and teamwork essential to success in the trade.

Key Responsibilities:
Assists in preparing and organizing materials and tools for ceiling installation work.
Supports crew members in the layout and installation of ACT and grid systems.
Observes and follows instructions to learn ceiling installation techniques and quality standards.
Maintains a clean, orderly, and safe work area at all times.
Follows all safety rules, policies, and personal protective equipment requirements.
Participates in on-the-job and classroom training to develop technical proficiency.

Education Qualifications:
School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.

Work Experience:
0–2 years of experience in ceiling installation, construction, or a related field required.

Certifications and Licenses:
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 10-Hour Construction certification preferred. OSHA 10 program completion within 6 months of hire is required.
