Urban Designer

Key Responsibilities:Smart City Expertise:Leverage past experience in smart city projects to integrate cutting-edge technologies and sustainable practices.Implement innovative solutions to enhance tourism experiences and infrastructure in alignment with smart city principles.Stakeholder Engagement:Collaborate with local authorities, government agencies, and community stakeholders to incorporate feedback into project design.Establish strong relationships with relevant authorities to facilitate project approvals and compliance.Site Analysis and Design:Conduct thorough site analysis to identify opportunities and constraints for redevelopment.Develop comprehensive architectural designs that optimize land use, promote sustainable development, and enhance overall aesthetics.Budgeting and Cost Management:Work closely with project managers and financial teams to develop and manage project budgets and timelines.Ensure adherence to budgetary constraints throughout the development process.Quality Assurance:Implement quality assurance measures to meet or exceed industry standards and client expectations.Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress and resolve design or implementation issues.Documentation and Reporting:Prepare and present project proposals, progress reports, and necessary documentation.Maintain comprehensive project records, including design plans, approvals, and communication logs.Qualifications & Requirements:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Urban Architecture.Minimum of 10 years of experience in urban designing, planning, and redevelopment projects.Proven experience in smart city projects in India.Relevant experience in riverfront/waterfront/lakefront projects with a minimum area of 50 acres.Strong leadership and project management skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.Knowledge of relevant regulations and building codes.Proficiency in architectural design software and tools.
