Vice President, Site Reliability Engineering

**POSITION SUMMARY:** As a Vice President in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) at BNY, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the performance and reliability of our engineering services to support the organization's strategic pillars of Operational Excellence and Client Focus. This role is situated within the Tech - Production Services function and focuses on maintaining the highest standards of service availability. You will leverage your expertise to ensure seamless operation of BNY's critical infrastructure, aligning with our principles of integrity, teamwork, and innovation. **PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:** - Lead initiatives to enhance system performance and availability by implementing best-in-class engineering practices. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal disruption to services by demonstrating expertise in site reliability engineering. - Develop and maintain robust monitoring systems to proactively detect and address potential risks, ensuring high availability and reliability of services. - Drive continuous improvement in operational processes by leveraging new technologies and methodologies, aligning with the strategic pillars of innovation and efficiency. - Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and professional growth. - Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies, maintaining the integrity and security of BNY's systems. **EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. **EXPERIENCE:** - Typically 2-8 years of experience. **SKILLS:** - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on improving system performance. - Excellent leadership and mentoring capabilities to guide and inspire engineering teams. - Proficient in developing and implementing monitoring and automation tools to enhance service reliability.
