As the Volunteer Coordinator, you will play a key role in developing, managing, and enhancing our volunteer program across our Kelowna communities, fostering vibrant and supportive environments for seniors. 

About The Role 

You will work closely with chaplains, care teams, and local churches to coordinate volunteer placements that align with residents’ spiritual, physical, and social needs. This role is centered around Christian ministry and leadership, requiring someone who embodies and promotes Baptist Housing’s Christian values of compassion, honesty, respect, innovation, stewardship, and teamwork. 

Key Responsibilities 

Volunteer Leadership & Christian Ministry:

  • Build strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and local communities.

Compensation & Benefits 

We offer an hourly wage between $28.00 - $30.00. Your comprehensive benefits include employer-paid extended health and dental coverage, along with a generous four weeks of vacation. Additionally, we provide RRSP matching contributions and support for your ongoing professional development.
