What you'll do
- Resolve grievances, appeals and other disciplinary matters referred to it
- Act as an Appeals Board for non-selection for International or Olympic representation
- Review procedures and processes expeditiously in the context of selection
- Make recommendations to the Board via the CEO as may be necessary to ensure the effective and equitable handling of disciplinary and grievance matters
- Provide assistance and/or guidance to British Rowing members, clubs, competitions and regions from time to time regarding the regulations
- Attend meetings of the Disciplinary and Grievance Panel as required
- Maintain high standards, compliance with recognised good practice guidelines, and comply with relevant requirements of British Rowing

- Experienced in judicial matters and procedures, for example as barristers, lawyers, solicitors or Justices of the Peace
- Justices of the Peace will need to have a minimum of five years experience
