What you'll do
- Direct day warehouse, night warehouse, and facility personnel, policies, procedures and practices.
- Responsible for inventory management and control, standard operating procedures, safety, productivity, and financial cost center management.
- Identify opportunities for improvement. Lead or supervise implementation of these opportunities.
- Coordinate and collaborate with other managers and corporate personnel to ensure smooth operation to meet business requirements.
- Sustain and improve service levels to customers.
- Develop and enhance productive working relationships with executives, managers, and staff across the organization as well as customers and other stakeholders outside the company.
- Hire, train, develop and manage staff. Ensure staff perform efficient operations.
- Establish and utilize performance-based means of managing vendor services.
- Oversee and comply with federal, state, and local regulatory laws, including those related to delivery fleet and warehouse operations.
- Maintain and safeguard company assets (e.g. building, personal property, inventory, cash).
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description Summary
This position is responsible for a fast-paced warehouse operation. The scope of this role includes direct management of day/night warehouse and driver personnel, execution of high-quality service to customers and internal stakeholders, leading compliance and safety, managing productivity and cost performance, and driving continuous improvement.
