The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Wastewater Process Engineer, you will have oversight traditional wastewater treatment operations, including:

  • Optimizing treatment effectiveness to achieve internal goals and discharge permit requirements.

Your Skills and Expertise 
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering disciplines (completed and verified prior to start)

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Environmental Engineering or Chemical Engineering from an accredited university
  • Class A or B wastewater operator license
  • Experience with wastewater treatment processes
  • Experience with NPDES permit compliance and State and Federal water quality regulations
  • Previous environmental experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting
  • Experience with project management

Location: Onsite Cottage Grove, MN

Travel: May include up to 10%

Relocation: May be authorized

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $98,964 - $120,957, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
