Window Surveyor (Estimator)

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed on-site surveys to measure windows and assess project requirements.
• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates based on survey data, project specifications, and materials needed.
• Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure clear understanding of project scope and costs.
• Prepare and submit detailed proposals and quotations for window installation or replacement projects.
• Maintain up-to-date records of measurements, estimates, and client communications.
• Identify potential challenges or variations during surveys and communicate effectively to project managers.
• Stay informed about industry standards, materials, and new technologies related to window systems.
• Assist in coordinating procurement of materials and liaise with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Window Surveyor or Estimator in the construction or fenestration industry.
• Strong knowledge of window types, materials, and installation processes.
• Excellent measurement and surveying skills, with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using measuring tools and relevant software for estimation.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team interactions.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines efficiently.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various project sites.
• Basic understanding of health and safety regulations related to surveys and installations.
