About the role


We're looking for a hands-on Technician - UG Blasting Equipment (HcD Technician) to join our Mining Services team. This is a FIFO opportunity from any city of Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane, Kalgoorlie, Sydney, servicing many of our Underground Mining customers across Australia. 

In this role, you'll support Orica's underground blasting machinery and customer-operated systems through maintenance, troubleshooting, equipment commissioning, and technical support across Western Australia and South Australia.

This is an excellent opportunity for mechanically or electrically-minded people looking to apply their skills in a new industry. Whether you are experienced or not, we'll train and support you to develop your knowledge of underground blasting operations and our specialised mining equipment.

Working on an 8 days on, 6 days off roster or a 15 days on, 13 days off roster, you'll fly to Orica locations across a number of states, enjoying a high level of autonomy while providing technical support and training to our valued customers.
