What you'll do

  • Oversight responsibility for projects and integration delivery across the practice.
  • Provide leadership and oversight for enterprise integration design, architecture, and delivery across Workday HCM, Payroll, Finance, and third-party systems.

  • Establish integration standards, reusable assets, accelerators, and delivery methodologies.
  • Partner with client enterprise architects and technical stakeholders to develop integration roadmaps and strategies.
  • Support the RFP response and pursuit process for Consulting work.
  • Lead integration solutioning during pursuits, including discovery workshops, architecture definition, integration inventories, effort estimation, and proposal development.
  • Present integration strategies and technical approaches during client presentations and orals.

The Manager, Consulting Services (Workday Integrations) is a “go to” practice leader who provides expert guidance, advice, and delivery leadership for enterprise integration engagements across the Workday practice. This individual leads the design, architecture, and delivery of enterprise-scale Workday integrations and assists the sales team with sales activities such as orals, estimations, and Statements of Work (SOWs).

This person works closely with Engagement Managers, Project Managers, Integration Architects, Managing Consultants, and leads, and acts as a liaison between the Consulting team and executive management. This person will assist in identifying business needs, staffing projects, defining integration strategy, and ensuring that the work/life balance of our consultants is monitored and adjusted appropriately.

Key Responsibilities:
 

Project Oversight:

  • Oversight responsibility for projects and integration delivery across the practice.

Integration Leadership:

Sales Support:

Team Leadership:

  • Assist in the recruitment, development, and management of a diverse, remote team of consultants supporting Workday applications.

  • Promote a team-oriented, challenging, and innovative work environment.

  • Lead and manage Senior Managers and/or Managing Consultants to ensure adherence to the activities, processes, and procedures outlined in Workday and the Cynergy Implementation Methodology.

  • Drive team and individuals to achieve high customer satisfaction levels.

  • Establish immediate credibility with clients and within the company; build consensus and achieve goals through influence.

  • Build trust-based relationships and identify and foster business development opportunities.
     

People Development:

  • Perform the role of mentor and coach.

  • Analyze team skills and provide for cross-training to maintain the team’s ability to staff projects appropriately.

  • Advise the management team on team members’ level of expertise and availability.
     

Performance Management:

  • Establish direct reports’ goals and objectives during the bi-annual review process.

  • Direct the collection of performance feedback from customers and engagement/project managers on a quarterly basis or upon completion of a project for your entire team.

  • Direct the collection of all internal contributions for team members, assuring data is received by HR on a quarterly basis.

  • Drive the bi-annual performance review process for the Consulting team.

Skills Required:

  • 8+ years of enterprise application integration and consulting experience, including 5+ years leading Workday integration implementations.

  • Demonstrated experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale Workday integrations across multiple systems and platforms using API, middleware, event-driven, and file-based integration patterns.
