Job Description

Associate Director Principal Contracting North Germany
Location: Berlin, Düsseldorf or Essen (Hybrid)
Reporting: Reporting to the country lead. 

About the Role


CBRE Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced individual to lead the delivery of a high-volume portfolio of capital projects across Germany for a key global client.

Based in Berlin, Düsseldorf or Essen, you will lead a team of Project Managers responsible for delivering multiple concurrent projects, typically valued between €500,000 and €2 million. The portfolio includes a wide range of office fit-outs, workplace refurbishments, MEP upgrades, lifecycle capital works, building fabric improvements and infrastructure projects across occupied commercial environments.

While individual projects are relatively modest in value, the programme is fast-paced and high volume, requiring exceptional leadership, programme oversight and stakeholder management. You will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest standards of quality and governance.

Working closely with senior client stakeholders and CBRE Turner & Townsend leadership, you will drive operational excellence, mentor high-performing teams and play a key role in shaping the continued growth and success of one of our strategic client accounts

What You’ll Do

Lead Project Delivery

  • Lead the successful delivery of a high-volume portfolio of projects across Germany.

Client Leadership

Operational Excellence

  • Maintain responsibility for the financial performance of the project portfolio.

  • Ensure accurate reporting and effective commercial management across all projects.


People Leadership

  • Lead, mentor and develop a team of Project Managers.
  • Recruit, retain and develop top talent to support continued account growth.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on continuous improvement.


Business Growth

  • Support the continued growth of the client account by identifying opportunities to expand services.
  • Contribute to strategic planning, client engagement and business development initiatives.
  • Collaborate across the wider CBRE Turner & Townsend business to deliver integrated solutions.

 

Qualifications
