  • Provide technical recommendations to customers regarding aircraft technical manuals, USAF Technical Orders, data, training, and technical support as required
  • Represent The Boeing Company to customers, regulatory authorities and industry working groups to ensure safe, efficient product operation
  • Apply maintenance and engineering principles to lead research on technical, operational, regulatory, safety and/or quality issues affecting the B-1B fleet
  • Lead and manage development of interim and final solutions to minor and complex aircraft maintenance queries
  • Develop clear and concise customer correspondence for continued safe operation and maintenance of the aircraft and support equipment
  • Skilled in the use and understanding of B-1B maintenance Technical Order manuals (Aircraft Maintenance Manual, Structural Repair Manual, Illustrated Parts Breakdown Manual, Inspection and Maintenance Requirements Manual, etc.)

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a B-1B Field Service Representative to provide engineering and technical recommendations in support of United States Air Force B-1B operations, products, and service at Tinker Air Force Base (AFB), Oklahoma.

You are applying for a Field Operations position where our employees must be willing and able (potentially short notice) to travel to a variety of locations (domestic and/or international) to meet the needs of our customers.

Field Operations employees may be required to relocate to another Field Operations location based on customer needs and/or management requirements.

Specific contracts supported by Field Operations could require employees to perform a deployment to a US DOD contingency operation. Employees associated with these specific contracts must be able to pass military contractor health standards for deployment.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical recommendations to customers regarding aircraft technical manuals, USAF Technical Orders, data, training, and technical support as required
  • Represent The Boeing Company to customers, regulatory authorities and industry working groups to ensure safe, efficient product operation
